VLC Player: Videos and films, self-cutting
- Videos can be in the theory with the VLC Player to cut. The procedure is not exactly comfortable and very rudimentary. With the recording function you can record individual scenes, or to extract from the Video. A merge of the sequences is not possible.
- Click the top menu-bar item "view" and select the "Advanced control". Then, you will find below a recording function with the desired clips from imported Videos can record. Under MacOS that doesn't work, unfortunately.
- More comfortable is it with the free Software VLMC, VideoLAN Movie Creator. This is the editing Software of the developers of VLC Player. Alternatively, you can also use the Windows Software, the Windows Movie Maker.
