Thunderbird: E-Mail content download
Unfortunately you can not download an E-Mail without the attachment. However, you can set up Thunderbird so that only the header lines (contains the sender and subject) of downloading E-Mails. You can then decide according to your needs, whether you the Rest of the E-Mail to download (content and attachment).
- Go to the "tools" and select the "account settings".
- Then click the "Server settings" of the respective E-Mail account.
- Now you have to activate the Option "download Only headers".
- If you are now receiving E-Mails, you can opt in to the E-Mail about "the Rest of the message is" download, whether you want to view the E-Mail completely.
