Step 1: download and secret texts to create

Note: This manual refers to OpenPuff v4.00.
  1. Download the OpenPuff down.
  2. Create a new text file. Whether you are writing the message with Word, the Windows text editor or any other writing program, is up to you.

Step 2: message in a music file hide

A step-by-Step instructions can be found again below in the image gallery.
  1. Start "OpenPuff" and click on the button "Hide".
  2. Enter a password with which your message is to be protected. This has to be minimum eight characters in length. You can enter two additional passwords to increase the protection. You do not need the function, remove the check mark under "Enable [B]" and "Enable [C]".
  3. Now click on the "Browse" button and select the text file.
  4. Click on the "Add"Button and locate the music file that you want to get your message to hide. "OpenPuff" supported Audio formats AIFF, MP3, NEXT/SUN, and WAV. Works, for example, an MP3 file, you don't have it, you can set the Audio Format using Audacity to change it.

  6. Your Text to make it visible again by clicking in the program window of "OpenPuff" on "Unhide" and your Audio file to import.
