You want to insert text in your Videos, you have several programs to choose from. We will show you how it works with the Windows Movie Maker.

Windows Movie Maker: Text to insert video

The Movie Maker is there for the different operating system in different versions: For Windows 7 and 8 it's best to use Windows Movie Maker 2012for Vista the Windows Live Movie Maker 2011 and Windows XP, the classic Windows Movie Maker.
  1. Launch the Tool after Installation, and drag the Video with the mouse in the program window. The Format is not supported, you can it with the "Freemake Video Converter", for example in an AVI file to convert.
  2. You can switch left to the "home" tab and click the category "Add" on the Button "image title". In this way, you put your Text over the Video.
  3. You can now write the desired Text in the input field above the Video. You can then change the top of Form, color, and Animation. On the image itself, then move the Text to the desired location.
  4. Most importantly, the set time is here: Under the category of "" can set to Adjust the time period of the text displayed to the hundredth of a second.
  5. Note: you can't put the Text in the Movie Maker, only the Video, but in the same way a title or a credits with your Text to create.
