Advanced search features in Spotify
Spotify's search box looks at first glance a bit monotonous, but it can be significantly more to do than I thought.
- The Operator "year :2000-2005" to restrict the date range.
- The Operator “genre: rock” limits the search results to the music genre of Rock.
- Also, the operators “track:”, “artist” and “album” are possible. The Whole you can combine with AND or OR operators.

Tweaks for Spotify - playlists to organize
Should you be in your Playlist collection to a manageable size, you can group them in folders to manage them easily.
- To do this, select “New Playlist folder” from the "file" menu and drag existing Playlists into this new folder.
- You can also slide your folders one inside another, and so your Playlist collection even more precisely manage and sort.

You can send the title directly to other Spotify users.
- To do this, press the "Share"button next to the Song (see image) or the right mouse button on the Playlist and "Share".
- It is the “Send to”tab opens.
- Now you need to enter only the name of the friend, and, optionally, a small Text and then click Share.

Spotify tips: Link to a specific time in the Song set
If you want to show a friend or acquaintance, that a certain part of a Song, you can create a suitable Link.
- You can put a direct Link to a Song, or a certain point in it, select copy, right-click on this and then click on "Spotify-URL".
- Then you need to append to the URL the minutes and seconds For the 3 Minute Song, for example, "#3:00" (without the quotes).
- When entering the bar, the following entry in the Spotify search, you can hear a section of a very well-known Songs: spotify:track:2QO8cnnFW6khDuAuUAySeV#4:08
