In this practical tip we show you how to block unwanted Skype calls. Because everyone knows the Problem: you write an important document and suddenly you are called by a more or less important Person.

Here we will show you how you only of your contacts can be achieved. In order to ignore calls from foreign users.

1. Open "Skype" and click in the menu bar, click "actions"
2. Now, open the "options"
3. In the new window, you can now go to the "privacy" (left column).
4. Under "allow calls ...", mark the box "only my contacts".

Also the Skype App for Windows 10 you can configure it so that you get only calls from your contacts:

1. Open the "Skype"App and click in the left bar on your profile picture.
2. Select the "settings".
3. Scroll the new window down until you reach the point of "Call". There you have to click on the slider under "calls all people, allow", so this jumps to "Off".

All Skype-to-Skype calls to ignore

You can not disable the call function completely, you can but with a little Trick to weaken. With these Tricks the call is now displayed only small in a corner of the screen and not in the middle:

• You set your Online Status to "Busy". So you get no Audio notifications for Calls and messages.
• You set your Online Status to "show As offline", nobody knows that you are straight in to Skype. Thus, none of the temptation to call you comes.
