Skype correctly to finish - so go ahead
You close Skype using the red "X" or via "Skype" > "" is minimized to the Messenger only. You can call it up at any time from the taskbar and stay online. So you quit Skype on the other hand completely:
- Click with the right mouse button on the Skype tile in the task bar.
- In the context menu select "Skype quit" (see image).
- The Messenger closes automatically and shows you as "offline".
- Alternatively, you can log out of Facebook before using "Skype" > "log off". Nevertheless, you need to quit Skype then move on to the tile in the task bar.

Something simple it works, if you make a small Change in the settings:
- In Skype, open "actions" > "options...".
- Go to the tab "Advanced".
- Remove the display hook in "Skype in the taskbar when I'm signed in" and click "Save.
