  1. You can open Ubuntu Terminal by pressing the key combination [Ctrl]+[Alt]+[T].
  2. With the command "sudo add-apt-repository "deb http://archive.canonical.com/ $(as in sc) partner" creating a package source, with the help of which you can install Skype then. To do this, you must have Administrator rights.
  3. So, the package sources are read, enter the following command in the Terminal: "sudo apt-get update". The actual Installation of Skype, then run the command "sudo apt-get install skype".
  4. Finally, enter the command "sudo apt-get-f install" in the Terminal. This corrects incorrect dependencies in the System.
  5. You can close the Terminal now and in the Dash for "Skype" and run it.
