Roman Numbers in LibreOffice write - so it goes

Roman Numbers can you write in LibreOffice in two different Ways. We will show you both options.

LibreOffice: Roman numerals write

  • You use the Standard Font "Times New Roman", you can enter the Roman Numbers on the keyboard
  • Simply use the following capital letters: I = 1, V = 5, X = 10, L = 50, C = 100, D = 500, M = 1000.

Roman numbers in LibreOffice "special character" insert

  1. At the top, click the menu item "Insert" and select the "special characters".
  2. Choose as Font "Times New Roman" and the subset "basic Latin".
  3. Now click successively on the letters for the Roman numerals until you have entered your numbers completely.
  4. On the "OK" Button closes the window and the Roman numerals are inserted in the document.
