In the case of the Layout-Software QuarkXPress, the settings are hidden to Create the trim for something - we show them to you.

1. QuarkXPress: gate lines to display

The lines for the bleed, you can in QuarkXPress, not, as, for example, in Adobe Indesign automatically display. Instead, you have to add them yourself:
  1. Open the tab "window", the "auxiliary lines".
  2. You can click on the small icon below the red "X" you close the window (see image).
  3. Now select "history and Safety guides create...".
  4. Now you need to set the bleed in mm approx. to 4.25 pt.
  5. The Button "preview" you will immediately see the gate lines and you can position exactly.

Bleed when exporting to PDF, add

If you export your data to print as a PDF, proceed as follows:
  • Select "file > Export > Layout as PDF".
  • Then click on "options" and navigate gate to the tab"".
  • Here you need to specify bleed type, as well as the exact dimensions.
If you have multiple QuarkXPress documents, you can use the individual Quark pages easy to assemble.
