Photoshop-resize images - so it works

How you can reduce the size of an image in Photoshop to a desired size, we explain them here in our guide.

  1. Open in the taskbar menu the "picture toolbar" and select the menu item "image size". Alternatively, you can press the key combination [Alt] + [Ctrl] + [I].
  2. Now the dialog window "image size", which is divided into two sections will appear: In the upper area, the pixel dimensions will be displayed in the lower pane, you will see the length dimensions of your image. This is especially handy if you want to print your image.
  3. Select from the drop-down menu the desired unit and enter in one of the fields to the desired height or width.
  4. The default settings are turned on, the ratios get. If you do not wish to receive them, removing you will get the check in the "constrain proportions".
  5. The sharpness of the image after the reduction is still not satisfactory, select in the drop-down menu "image calculate new" the Option "bicubic sharper".
