In Photoshop, you can help of lines on the program settings and via Shortcut to hide and show. We will explain both options in Detail.

Photoshop show guides via Shortcut

Guides will give you in Photoshop clues, where you take objects, or other images to place. So make sure that your added elements are always straight and centered.
  • The Standard auxiliary lines fade in Photoshop via "view" > "View" > "guides". This Grid you call, alternatively the key combination [Ctrl] + [H].
  • These auxiliary lines may not be enough for you to enable in the same menu, select "Smart guides". These are more precise and appear automatically on the required Image.
  • Alternatively, you can create via "view" > "New guide" your own Grid and save as.
