How to import, edit and export PDFs in LibreOffice

  • Since Version 3.3 you can import files via "file" > "Open" in LibreOffice. To do this, you need to enter when you Open only the file name or the Format to "PDF" or "All files" setting.
  • In the imported PDF file, you can make small changes. The only drawback: Like most of the PDF Import programs also detects breaks in LibreOffice with no line. For that, you can move the individual rows and Headings but at least as a text frame and edit any. This is also true for all image and graphic elements.
  • The finished document can then Export via "file" > "PDF" back to the origin Format.
