Quickly line spacing set to 1.0 or 1.5
To fat In the button at the top right of the settings/italic/underline, you can find the settings for the paragraph. Here you can set with a click the line spacing to 1.0 or 1.5.
Other line spacing set
You want to have a different line spacing for your document, proceed as follows:
- Click at the top of the button to "Format".
- Click on the third Option "paragraph".
- A dialog window will open. Here is the Tab "indents and paragraphs will open by default". If not, you need to select this Tab.
- There you will find at the bottom the Option "line spacing" that you set here.
Here you will find the self-explanatory settings "single-line", "1,5" and "two lines" of different options:
- "Proportional" is the line spacing proportional to the font size, enter 50% to 200%. This 150% is 1.5 times and 200% on the two-fold line spacing.
- "At least," adds their line to the specified distance in cm.
- "By the shot" adds their line to the specified distance in cm.
- In the case of the Option "Fixed" allows you to specify your distance in cm instead of proportional to the font size. The font is placed in the lower third of the line spacing.
All the tips are related to the OpenOffice Version 3.4.1. In previous versions, you need to do may be different to the line spacing.
