OpenOffice: the language of the spell checker manually change
- You Can Open OpenOffice. In the bottom row you see in the middle the current setting for the spell checker. By default, this should be set to "German (Germany)" is set.
- To be able to select more languages, you must enable this first via settings. To do this, go to the top on "tools" > "settings...".
- Navigate to "language settings" > "language".
- At the point of "locale" to select the desired language for the spelling checker and then click "OK".
