If you are typing quickly a longer Text in Open Office, it often comes to double spaces. How you can use the delete, we will show you in this tip.

To delete unnecessary Lerzeichen in Open Office

  1. Open the document in Open Office and click on the tab "edit".
  2. Here you will Find the "find and Replace". Alternatively, you can also use the key combination [Ctrl]+[F].
  3. You can now Search for two spaces and in the field "Replace by" a single space character.
  4. Start now to Delete the double spaces using the Button "replace all".
