Chromecast: No connection – you can do
- First, make sure that your time is set correctly on your PC. You can select the service and Uhr.de call.
- Unplug your wireless Router for approximately 10 seconds from the power supply. This Trick fixes many connection problems.
- At the same time, you should make sure that the Chromecast is on the same network as your PC. You can see this in the Chromecast menu at the bottom right on the PC, you will also find at the bottom right information about the current connection.
- Proxy server or VPN's can affect the connection of Chromecast. You should therefore disconnect any Proxy Connections.
- It is possible that your anti-virus program or the Firewall is blocking a connection with Chromecast. As a test you should turn off both in the short term.
- A simple PC or Chromecast restart can also often contribute to the solution.
- You should be following these tips, however, do not succeed, you will have to use the Reset of the stick left.
