Silverlight update: So bring it up-to-date
Basically, you can use the latest Version of Silverlight , at any time, at CHIP download free. After extracting the file, you install the program. However it is easier if you make the Update settings directly in Silverlight.
- First of all, you can call Silverlight. To do this, click with the right mouse button on the Windows start menu Icon. After you have selected "Search" and type "Silverlight".
- In the menu "Microsoft Silverlight configuration" then go to the tab "Updates". You will be offered various options for the upgrade of Silverlight.
- You can opt for "install Updates automatically" runs the Update silently in the Background and you get nothing.
- You want to start the Update manually, opt for the second Option: "check for Updates, but Download and Installation demands".
- Select this Option, you will be informed about an update of Silverlight, and then download the Update.
