Reset with a used Mi Band 2
Some users report that they were able to reset a used Mi Band 2, as you have it connected to your Smartphone:
- The Smartphone of the previous owner is not in the vicinity, shows the Mi Fit App a connection error.
- Then, the message "Restore factory settings" will appear. With a tap on it is the Mi Band 2 reset.
- This may require you to confirm on the Mi Band, by tapping on the Display. In addition, a four-digit Code will need to enter you in the App.
- After that, the Mi Band, the Mi is connected to-Fit App on the new Smartphone.
