LibreOffice: insert Horizontal line - so it goes

In this practical tip we will explain how you can paste in LibreOffice, a horizontal line. In contrast to the header or footer, you can create these at any point in the document.

To insert a horizontal line in LibreOffice

  • Hide the required bar via "view" > "toolbars" > "not a Draw", if you have already.
  • Tap on the lines icon (see image).
  • Now click two times on the point in the file where the horizontal line should begin.
  • Press and hold the mouse and drag horizontally to the left or to the right.
  • You want to change the thickness or color, tap again on the line. As a result, the required bar opens.
