LibreOffice: document with password protect - is that possible?

A LibreOffice document, you can protect it with a password. The file can then only with password to open.

LibreOffice document password protect

  1. In your LibreOffice document, click "file" > "Save as...".
  2. Select in the file browser window, check the "save With password" under the file type.
  3. Click on "Save".
  4. Enter in the password window, create a password and then confirm it with a re-enter.
  5. Finally, click on "OK".
  6. The next time you Open, you must first enter the password, so that the LibreOffice is open document.
