Kindle for Android: books on TalkBack to read
TalkBack by Google, supports the whole of the Kindle Reading App with audio support.
- Navigate on your Android device to the settings.
- Go to "accessibility" and then to "TalkBack".
- Here you can turn the App on or off.

Also, as an iOS User, you do not need to dispense with a language support Kindle. With VoiceOver, you get Audio services for eBooks, magazines, and many other functions.
- Tap the "settings"menu item.
- Select the entry "General" and then select the "input help".
- Go to "See" and navigate to "VoiceOver".
- Now you can activate the App either on or off.
Text on the Kindle with Text-to-Speech to listen to
Most of the content you can with Text-to-Speech directly from your Kindle device reading.
- On the product page of your eBook you can enable in the product information on this function, if it is for the title available.
- While reading, tap the center of the screen of the Kindle , and then click the icon with the three dots.
- Go to "Additional settings" and turn On Text-to-Speech to"".
- To start playback, tap again on the screen, and then click the icon with the arrow.
- The reading speed you can increase or decrease by tapping the icon that looks like a speedometer.
- You can read a book in a foreign language, the appropriate Text-to-Speech voice for that language download.
- To do this, tap the prompt to Download. You can find this at the lower end of the progress bar.
- Note: The Text-to-Speech function is only available on the Kindle Fire HD, Kindle Fire HDX, Amazon Echo, Amazon Tap and Amazon Echo Dot available. For the Kindle Paperwhite of the 7. Generation is a Audio-Adapter available. This you do not get it, but at the moment still in Germany.
