Citavi manual: how to use the program properly
Citavi consists of three main parts: reference management, knowledge organization, and task planning:
- In the reference editor, you can enter authors, editors and book title and sort.
- By clicking on the "ISBN, DOL, PMD", enter the existing ISBN number. Citavi then downloads all the other information to the corresponding literature down.
- Under "Research" you can search for other titles. First, you need to add with a click on "database/catalog" a new catalog.
- So you are always organized, you can "Plan" all their job tasks plan and organize.
- To add a new task, click on the "project task". You can also assign tasks to books and literature.
- In addition, you can open in Citavi, a new Word text document, and your bibliography with this link. Just click on "tasks" and select the project that you are using Word to link to.
