Textures paste with Google SketchUp
With the free design Software "SketchUp Make 2014" for Mac OS and Windows you can, with as few steps as three-dimensional objects to create and design. In order to have an accurate image of your 3D design, you can add this in "SktechUp" with different textures, or even what to create.
- To start, Google SktechUP, and open your design that you want to enhance with textures.
- Then click in the menu bar, click the Icon with the "fill bucket". It is a new window with a content library opens (see Screenshot). Here you can fill in the individual surfaces of your model, depending on the function with the default textures from the material folders. Select your desired Texture and then click the area in your design to obtain this Texture.

If you can't find a certain Texture in the predetermined collection of material from SktechUp, you can also create your own textures for your 3D object. Here's how:
- Click in the materials window, click the small icon with the " + " to create your own textures (see upper Screenshot). In this new window you can change the color of already existing materials or new material surfaces to add to the collection for your model.
- Go to the folder "To the material image file", so you can choose your own stored textures on your Computer for your 3D object.
- Select your desired material texture and click "Open". The selected file is added to the material library of the "SketchUp".
- Before you use your own Texture for your model, you can also make individual subtleties. You, for example, alter the proportions, or the transparency of your Texture. Ready for your own Texture, which is also when their next draft is available.
