General to the Spam Filter of GMail
- Basically, you can set GMail no own Filter levels. The Spam Protection in the case of GMail, learn independently, which Mails unnecessary bulk are ads and which are not. Initially, it may come to that your messages are incorrectly assigned.
- After you have highlighted a few such Mails properly, or back in the input folder, should Gmail to manage everything properly.
1. E-Mails from the Spam folder in the Inbox
- GMail marked a message from your friends as Spam, you need to declare this Mail as "not Spam". To do this, go to the Spam folder, open the message and remove the top of the Spam Label.
- After that, the message moves to the Inbox automatically. You have identified two to three such Mails as safe, are unlikely to remain private messages in the Spam Filter.

If, however, an advertisement in the post-landing entrance, simply press the "report Spam" Button. The Mail then moves immediately into the Spam folder and GMail will remember the sender and sort future emails automatically.

3. Manual Spam Filter setting
For better security, you should also define a own Filter. To do this, proceed as follows:
- Click the top right corner of GMail, click the Gear icon and select "settings".
- Under the tab "Filter" you will find the Option "create a New Filter".
- Here you can specify, in which case a Mail in the Spam folder, pushed to be. To do this, use either the sender of emails, or certain phrases (see image).
- Then click below right on "Filter with this search", you will be directed to next page.
- Here you can decide what should happen with the Mail and whether you will be marked as Spam or not.
- Via the Button "create Filter" to apply the new rule then.
