PDF-file with Gimp edit - so go ahead

  1. Invoke Gimp and open the desired PDF-file via "file" > "Open".
  2. Then, select the pages of PDF file that you want to edit. You can now adjust the resolution to at least "300 pixels/in", to quality, to keep losses to a minimum.
  3. The item "pages as..." must select open from the drop-down menu "pages". Each PDF page will open as a separate image. Download the pages and then Import into the image editing program.
  4. You can now edit the pages as usual with the Gimp-tools: For example, individual letters and words with the eraser, remove, or use the text tool to complement.
  5. You have the PDF file as desired edits, click on "file" and then click "Export as". You can set the name and location of the PDF file and click "Export".
