Own Splash Screen with Gimp create
- Open it on your Windows PC to the following directory: "C:\Program Files\GIMP 2\share\gimp\2.0\images"
- In the "images" folder, create a copy of the file "gimp-splash". Then, you open the original file with Gimp.
- Now you can edit the image or delete it completely. To do this, click on the tab "file" and then "New...". Your creativity when editing the image, no borders.
- You are with the design finished, press [Ctrl] + [S] to save the finished image. They give as a store name "gimp-splash.png" and save it in images folder (see the second Show).
- As soon as you launch Gimp next Time, you will see your own Splash Screen.
