Foxit Reader: words black - so it goes

In order to protect your privacy, you should redact sensitive data, and words in PDFs. In the free Foxit Reader, there is unfortunately no function. We will tell you but a little detour.

Data protection: Sensitive words in the Foxit Reader black

Note: Black area, the Text underneath and can easily be in a different document and thus be read copied. Print the document, you should prefer the document with Paint black.

1. Start the Foxit Reader and open your PDF document.
2. Click on the tab "comments".
3. Select the "Text Markup", the Option "highlight".
4. Now switch to the Tab "highlighting tools" and "Format".
5. Here you can set under "Format" and "line color" in the color black.
6. Then highlight the Text you want to redact.

The edited file, you can send either via e-mail. Previously, you should use the PDF file smaller.
