Word-form in PDF-Format
In our example, we create with Word 2010, but as already mentioned above, the procedure for the other common word processors are almost identical.

- After you have created your form, either self or an appropriate template is downloaded and according to their needs have modified, you can save it as a PDF form.
- Tip: you should save your form, necessarily also as a normal Word document. This saves you a lot of work, if you want to edit it later.

From the Word document to the PDF document
- The Word document, convert it to a PDF form, go to the tab "Start" and select "navigation pane" on the left side of the "Save as" Option.
- You go in the menu "Save" on "file type" and in the drop-down list, then choose "PDF".
- You are working with an older Version of Word, you will not find the PDF-Format under "file type". You can, however, be the Freeware WordToPDF download, then a PDF form directly in the Software, you can generate.
- Good to know: If you have a form and need the user to fill in is to use the free OpenOffice. You can export the document as fillable PDF forms. Microsoft Office does not provide this option. Here you will either need the rather expensive Adobe Acrobat full version or an alternative Software.
