How to: Cisco VPN Client on Windows set up
Follow our guide to the Cisco VPN client set up:
- Start the "VPN Client". You can find these under "programs" then "Cisco Systems".
- To use a new VPN, click on the Button "New".
- In the following window now the data of your VPN server. In the "Connection Entry", you can enter a name for the VPN, so that you can identify. Enter in the field "Host" the host name of the server.
- In the respective tabs, you can configure advanced settings (depending on server type).
- If you are a ".pcf"file with all the information, you can add them via the "Import"function in the program.
- If you want to connect to the network, click the network and select the Button "Connect". You may be prompted for your user name and the corresponding password.
