Amazon WhisperSync for Voice: how it works
With Whispersync for Voice, Audible and Amazon are now working Hand-in-Hand:
- On the following website you will find a selection of various books with Whispersync for Voice compatible.
- The matching audiobook is an E-Book available on Whispersync for Voice Logo (see image). An audiobook is available, but you do not see the appropriate Logo, is reduced to the audiobook, mostly. In this case, audiobook and E-Book are not able to work together.
- Also if you buy the same item at a quasi twice, save a lot of money: The eBook is always bought at the regular price. The corresponding audio book you can get then at a greatly reduced price.
- Example: A recent book by the author Ken Follett at a cost of eBook 23 Euro. The right audiobook will cost about Whispersync for Voice for only 6 Euro. The hardback edition costs 29 Euro a Euro more than the audiobook, and eBook.
- Tip: The Amazon Matchmaker analyzes, whether to your already purchased eBooks to a compatible audio book is available.

WhisperSync for Voice: how to sync an audiobook and eBook
- The service to activate, log in to Amazon and select under "My account" "My content and devices". In the "settings" Tab, scroll down to the "device synchronization (Whispersync settings)". You set the selection field to "Enabled".
- You can listen to then an audiobook or read an eBook, it will save the current Position always. You can open the audiobook or eBook to another device, you will be guided directly to the right place.
- On the iPhone or Android Smartphone, as well as the Fire Tablet, you can read the eBook at the same time and hear.
- With Whispersync for Voice, you don't need to sync the eBook and audiobook manually. This is done automatically.
