With the free Adobe Reader you cannot save individual pages from large PDF documents. If you do not have the paid Version of Adobe Acrobat, you will have to rely on small detours. In the following paragraphs, we will show you four different ways.
Individual pages of a PDF with Google Chrome
A simple way on a PC and a Mac individual pages from a PDF to solve the Google Chrome Browser. Follow these steps:
- Open your PDF document, by dragging it into the open Chrome Browser.
- You go with the mouse in the lower right corner of the window and click on the printer icon.
- Under the menu item "destination" click "Change" and select save target As PDF.
- Again in the menu item "destination" in the category "pages" of the desired page numbers that you want to extract.
- Click on "Save" and select a new file name and location. Your single page PDF will then be created.

For Mac users: Save individual PDF pages via the "preview"
- Open your PDF in preview, and activate the thumbnail view in the left sidebar.
- Select in the thumbnail view of the pages you want to extract. Several related pages to select, by the first page, click on the shift key, keep it pressed and click the last desired page. More individual pages of the document you can also select by holding down the [Ctrl] key and the corresponding pages of mark.
- Now select in the menu "file" > "Print", or the shortcut [Ctrl] + [P].
- Select the Checkbox "Selected pages in sidebar".
- Select in the lower-left corner of the "PDF" Button, and then select the Option "save As PDF".
- Then click on "Print" and choose a file name and location for your abridged PDF.

- On the net you will find a wide range of services, with their help you can free of charge individual pages from your PDF documents.
