Adobe Lightroom: a comparison view set

In Adobe Lightroom there are several comparison views - we introduce you to these and what they are useful.

1. Comparison view in Adobe Lightroom: shots to compare

With the compare mode in the library mode you can see two shots in a direct comparison side by side to decide for the Right.
  1. Select the library mode.
  2. You select in the Grid-Overview of two photos.
  3. Then, select the small X/Y-Symbol below the image. Alternatively, you can press the [C] button.

2. Before-and-After comparison in Aodbe Lightroom

With the comparison view, you can also view your editing compared to the Original. So you have a direct before/after comparison.
  1. Select the "Develop"mode.
  2. With a click on the Y/Y icon at the bottom of the image, you can open the before/after view.
  3. Click once on it, you can also view the comparison within a photo: The left half is the Original, the right half edited. This Option can-8 you select the small check mark next to the Y/Y icon.
