Mac OS X Yosemite: Spotlight disable suggestions

The new function Spotlight suggestions sends under MacOS X Yosemite users unsolicited data to Apple's Server. If you do not want this, you can disable the function.

Yosemite: Spotlight suggestions disable

To prevent your data from being sent to Apple, turn off the Spotlight suggestions easy.
  1. You go into the "system settings" and then "Spotlight".
  2. Then, uncheck the checkmark at "Spotlight suggestions", "bookmarks and history" and "Bing web searches".
