An additional level of security for Google Drive
Important: Before you get started with the activation of Two-factor authentication, you should consider on which phone number you want to later, get the additional security code. It is recommended to set the corresponding mobile phone then also ready, because you will need it during the setup. In addition, you should consider that replacement telephone numbers are in question.
- After you have logged in to your Google Account, go to the top right on your picture or name and click "account".
- Then select in the menu bar, point to "safety".
- After you have arrived on the "security" page, go to the "password" and click next to "confirmation in two steps", the Option "Setup".

- Before you can begin the activation process, you must first enter your password. You will then be automatically guided through the four stages of the Two-factor authentication.
- First, enter the appropriate phone number and then choose one of the options SMS or voice call. You have your decisions made manifest, click on "send Code".
- You will then receive a confirmation code from Google to your phone.
- The confirmation code, enter the relevant field and complete your entry with "Confirm".
- Finally, then, once again, your input check, a substitute enter the phone number and you will have in the future, and additional security for your sensitive data.
