You can check your Browser link. Often you find here the Remnants of the Adware. The following instructions apply to both Firefox as well as Chrome, Internet Explorer and other browsers:
- Click with the right mouse button on the shortcut of your browser and select "properties".
- In the Grid, "shortcuts", click the "destination" field. There should be behind - ""c:\.....\mozilla firefox\firefox.exe" nothing more. You delete any and all entries and confirm with "Apply".
- Repeat these steps with all Browser shortcuts in the taskbar.
