Avast protection temporarily disable
It often happens that a virus program such as Avast is blocking other programs or work on the PC in any other way hindered. In these cases, you can disable the anti-virus program, quite simply, for a certain period of time:
- Under Windows you can find in the System Tray at the bottom right is a small icon of Avast. Often this is only visible when you click on the arrow "show hidden icons".
- After right-clicking on the icon, you can under "avast! Protection control", select for how long Avast has to be disabled - for example, until the next reboot, or only ten minutes long.
- However, you can also disable individual functions of Avast (see Screenshot). To do this, open the program and go to settings.
- Under the tab "Active protection" you can turn off individual functions. You should leave the functions, but in no case longer than necessary disabled.
