Photoshop: cut in a fixed size

With Photoshop, you can cut out images in a fixed size. Exactly how this works, we will show you in this practical tip.

Photoshop to a fixed size with guides

Because you can adjust the crop tool, unfortunately, is not a fixed size, but only a ratio is required of other solutions. To do this, you can disconnect with auxiliary lines, the fixed size, and then cut out.
  1. You use the selection rectangle tool (M key).

Alternatively, you can also set by Changing the working area of a fixed size. This should make the best from the very beginning.
  1. Select in the program screen > work area bar.
  2. Then a new Dialog, in which you have the fixed size can be set to open. You can switch between pixels, centimeters and more.
  3. With a click on the OK button to confirm your input. Their work area of the document now has your desired firm size.
