What Exif files are?
- Exif stands for "Exchangeable Image File Format". It is a standard format, with the metadata in the images to be stored.
- Such meta-data, among other things, the Name and the size of the image, the image depth, as well as the coordinates of the recording site.
- Every camera and every smartphone save the meta data in the Exif file by default in every image.
- Right-click on the image file, you can select the "properties" of the image. Under the tab "Details" you find the contents of the Exif file.
