Document history hide in MS Word
Microsoft Word automatically shows your most recently used documents. Proceed as follows if you want to turn off this display:
- Word 2003: Open "Word 2003". You go in the menu bar, click "tools" - "options" and select "General". Enter a "0" in the list with the recently viewed files so that the display is disabled.
- Word 2007: Open the Office Button and click "options" to "Advanced". You can now set the number of recently used documents to "0". It no files are displayed.
- Word 2010 and Word 2013: Click on "file" - "options". You go to the function "Advanced" and select the number of recently used documents. Record a "0" to turn off the display.
