To paste in Excel, a trend line
- You can create your chart in Microsoft Office Excel. A development, are column and line charts recommended.
- Click with the right mouse button on one of the pillars. Now a shortcut will be displayed on the menu, which includes add the "trend line". This you need to select (see image).
- In the last step, it calls on Excel to format the trend line: Next to the line color you can also specify the regression type itself. The selection ranges from linear Regression to a polynomial and Exponential function.
- The respective regression type, you need to self-select according to the data history. Should you not be quite sure of, help you small preview images. In addition, the currently selected type is used the same, so that you can already see in front of the "OK", whether the line fits.
