Excel: Add-Ins analysis for the regression
A regression analysis, you need to first of all the required Add-In In Excel to enable:
- To do this, start Excel and click on "file".
- You go to the "options" and then to "Add-Ins".
- If the Add-In "analysis-functions" is not listed under "Active application Add-Ins" to click at the bottom next to "Excel Add-Ins" click "Go...".
- Here you will set the hook in "analysis-functions" and confirm with "OK".

- You go back to the table and fill with your data.
- At least two columns must be filled. When you are finished, click on the "data" Tab and then click "data analysis".
- Here, select the Option "Regression" and click "OK".
- Now you need to set the Y - and the X-input range. Click on the Button next to the input field and mark the area by holding down the left mouse button and drag down.
- You can then make further settings.
- You can also select a range for the output. After you have clicked on "OK" to display the output where you have it set.
