Regression analysis in Excel to create

With a regression analysis, you can analyze in Excel in the mathematics of large amounts of data. We will show you here how this procedure can apply.

Excel: Add-Ins analysis for the regression

A regression analysis, you need to first of all the required Add-In In Excel to enable:
  1. To do this, start Excel and click on "file".
  2. You go to the "options" and then to "Add-Ins".
  3. If the Add-In "analysis-functions" is not listed under "Active application Add-Ins" to click at the bottom next to "Excel Add-Ins" click "Go...".
  4. Here you will set the hook in "analysis-functions" and confirm with "OK".

Regression analysis in Excel to create

  1. You go back to the table and fill with your data.
  2. At least two columns must be filled. When you are finished, click on the "data" Tab and then click "data analysis".
  3. Here, select the Option "Regression" and click "OK".
  4. Now you need to set the Y - and the X-input range. Click on the Button next to the input field and mark the area by holding down the left mouse button and drag down.
  5. You can then make further settings.
  6. You can also select a range for the output. After you have clicked on "OK" to display the output where you have it set.
