YouTube Video as a Flash object in PowerPoint
A YouTube Video can you embed Flash object into your PP presentation. Please note that you must have an Internet connection.
- Go to the desired YouTube Video in the Browser that you want to include.
- You will now edit the URL of the video. This has always the same shape, and for example looks like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7t4_JapFins - Remove the "watch?" and replace the "=" with a "/". The new URL looks for example like: http://www.youtube.com/v/7t4_JapFins
- You then switch to PowerPoint and go up to the Tab "developer tools". You do not see this Tab, go to "file" and "options". Now click left on the item "customize ribbon" and select under "choose commands from" "main tabs". Click on "developer tools" and then click the "Add" Button (see image gallery).
- Click in the area of "controls" on the "More controls"Button.
- Here you can select in the list "Shockwave Flash Object".
- Drag on the slide the area that corresponds to the later of the size from the Video.
- Click on the box to the right and go to "properties".
- Now you can enter the Link to the Video. Enter the "Movie" the edited URL. In addition, you can meet even more options, such as, for example, whether the Video is to be started ("Playing").
