Outlook: Mail for the follow-up flag

The "tracking"feature in Outlook allows you to mark important Emails to a "re-submission". Where you will find the appropriate Option, we show in this practical tip.

Tracking for received mail mark

  1. Click once on the E-Mail message that you want to mark.
  2. If you are in the "Start" tab you have the appropriate field immediately in view:
  3. Click above in the menu bar on the "follow-up", which is provided with a red flag.
  4. Now go to "message flag". In the column on the right, you can create a task in Outlook.
  5. Depending on the Outlook Version you get in the window is also equal to different-colored flag for the pre-configured re-submission dates will be displayed (tomorrow, next week, etc.); alternatively, you can also set reminder Alerts.
  6. The so-created tasks or appointments will be marked with a flag to the right of the Inbox is displayed.

  1. First, create a new E-Mail message.

  5. If necessary, specify the reminder date and confirm with "OK".
