To insert music into your own Powerpoint presentation
Songs you can insert quickly and easily via the menu. It works like this:
- Click in the menu bar item "Insert".
- Go to "Audio" and select "Audio from file...".
- Select the desired music file and press "Insert".

The song should be played in only one place, you can click during the presentation, just click the Play Button. Via the menu item "animations" you can play the music immediately when the slide is selected. You want to let the song throughout the entire presentation, there's also a setting:
- First, select the song added into the film.
- Now click in the menu bar, click "playback".
- Under "Start" in the "audio options" you can now choose "play across slides". As a result, the song is not interrupted when you switch to a different slide.
- To repeat the music endlessly, after the song is finished, select the option "loop playback".

The tip refers to Powerpoint 2010. In other versions of the process can vary slightly.
Powerpoint supports the most common music formats MP3, WAV, and WMA, and can, among other things, also the music from MP4-files.
