So you create in Word, Hyperlinks
- You first highlight the Text that you want to associate with the Hyperlink. Click on this and then right-click and open the context menu "Hyperlink...".
- Now you can create the first Button in the "file or web page" the Link to a specific website or to a file located on your Computer (see image).
- The second Button "current document" provides a cross-reference within the document. This is, for example, in the table of contents for longer texts helpful to go to a particular Chapter.
- If you want to refer to a private document that you have not yet created, you can create via the "New document" to do. Here you should change the file path, the document will be found again.
- With the last Button, "E-Mail address" allows you to integrate an email function. In addition to the recipient's address, you can also specify a subject. If you send the completed Word document, for example, as a PDF, readers can reply to you with a click via email.

Hyperlink in Word
The selected Text with Hyperlink now has a blue font color and underlined. If you press [Ctrl] + [K], and in Word, click on the Link, you can open this in the Browser.
