1. A new blog post in Word, create
Blogging in MS Word, you first need to create a new blog entry.
- Open the main menu by clicking on the Microsoft Logo in the upper left corner (Word 2007) or you create a new file under "file | New" (other Word versions).
- Select the "New" button and create a new blog post (see Screenshot).
- You will be asked for your Blog provider. If you still don't have a Blog Account, click "register later".
- If you are already registered with Wordpress, Blogger or TypePad, you can login with your Blog URL and your user name and password. In the URL, you should leave the pre-filled "/xmlrpc.php" are.
- In the new document you can start with your first blog entry.

2. Blog service associate with the Word
Before you upload the Blog Post, you need to connect MS Word with the blog service of your choice.
- Click on the button "manage accounts" at the top of the ribbon of Word.
- From the list, select a blog service and click "next".
- You will now create your account. Enter in the URL field the Link to the home page of your blog. You have the add-on "xmlrpc.php" are. Your blog address "www.chipblog.wordpress.com" you would have to enter so "www.chipblog.wordpress.com//xmlrpc.php" in the field.
- In the next fields, enter the user name and the password that you have registered with the blog service.

3. In Microsoft Word, blogging
Once you have linked your account with Microsoft Word, blogging directly from Word.
- You Write Your Blog Entry.
- Click on "Publish" to post the Post on your Blog.
- Before the post appears on your Blog, Word asks you may to enter your access data.

If you don't yet have a Blog, you should register a. Free provider whose accounts you Word associate can, for example, Wordpress, Blogger and TypePad.
