From now on you can update to the new Mac OS 10.10 Yosemite. How it works and which devices are compatible, we will explain in this Overview.

Mac OS 10.10 Yosemite: So you can update your Mac

First, open your Mac App Store.
Then click the search box in the upper right corner and enter "Yosemite".
Click the first search hit "OS X Yosemite".
Now press on the "Free"Button to start the Download. Note: the Download and Installation can take some time.
During the download and Installation, your Mac should be connected to the electricity.
Now follow the information on the screen to complete the Installation.
