MacOS: forgot password - you can do
On the Mac, to reset your password, you will need an Administrator Account on your Mac, you know the password.
- Log in with the Administrator Account.
- Enter "user & groups" in the spot light of your Mac a search.
- Click the lock in the lower left corner of the window to allow Changes to your Mac. In the opened window your administrator password.
- You can now select the locked user and password, press change.
- Enter in the following window, a new password and confirm it. Now the password has been changed.
- Note: this operation only on your own Account and never with a stranger.
