iTunes library clean up and optimize – you need to do
For the optimization of the iTunes library we recommend you the Tool TidyMyMusic. Note: This practical tip is based on TidyMyMusic 1.0.1 under Mac OSX.
- You can download TidyMyMusic download and install the Tool.
- Start the program with iTunes.
- Click add in the TidyMyMusic to "iTunes library".
- Your library is searched. The program then displays the errors found. With a click of "Auto-Repair" to fix the problems automatically.
- You can also check each music file individually, and edit to confirm. A click on "apply All" to apply all the information on all the music files.
- If there are music files that can't be edited, you can edit this manually. To do this, select a file and click on "edit".
- If you have edited your music, finish the work with a click on "Finish". Your library is now optimized and cleaned up.
